Chess Nuts offers chess and science classes every Tuesday for K-5 students (1:35-2:35 pm).​ The Spring session starts on April 7 and runs until May 26.

Class description:

​

Each child receives a magnetic chess set, weekly chess lessons, and a chess medal for participating. We teach new advanced lessons each week for the advanced group, as well as more basic, readily understandable lessons for the beginner group. The title of this session is "Grandmaster Chess" – we will learn from games between grandmasters.

 

During the science portion of the class, students will undertake science projects and have the opportunity to earn a science medal as well.
